How we enter the work
A process that does not ask you to pretend the problem is simple.
Listen for the repeated sentence
The project usually begins with something someone says all the time: “we do this manually,” “we never trust that file,” or “only one person knows where it is.”
Draw the work before the tool
We map the evidence, people, handoffs, risks, and judgment calls. The first design artifact is often a workflow, not a screen.
Build a small working thing
A prototype should make the idea easier to judge. It uses real examples where possible and makes the limits obvious early.
Leave control in the room
Every critical output needs a clear owner, a review moment, and a way to challenge the system when it is uncertain.
